If you are an experienced sewer and you want to assist with classes, drop by or contact us to work out the details.
See you soon!
Back-to-school crafting; make a pencil case! Wednesday Aug 24!
Skills learned include sewing a zipper and an optional lining. The pattern is shaped at the bottom so it can stand up, which is great practice for larger projects like purses, cushions, etc.
Great workshop for kids, as it is SO easy! Must have basic sewing skills (know how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, sew a straight seam).
4-6pm, $38+tax, cost includes fabric/zipper/thread but I do recommend you bring your own basic sewing supplies (thread trimmer or scissors, seam ripper, extra bobbins, etc.)
Max 4 students.
PLEASE come early, even the day before, to get your fabric cut so it doesn’t eat into your sewing time!
**All classes are ALL AGES unless otherwise noted, with the very important stipulation that they can be trusted to use SHARP OBJECTS or HOT IRONS independently!**
**Classes MUST be booked and paid for ahead of time, especially for hands-on workshops, and cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance or else a refund may not be given. If you do not show up you do not get a refund!*
